U OK – Mental Health & Wellbeing Support in Brighton & Hove

We are pleased to let you know that our new UOK Wellbeing Service has now launched across Brighton & Hove and East Sussex.

The service will make it easier for people to access community mental health and wellbeing support as one joined-up offer, helping people find the right support at the right time. It is delivered by Southdown, the lead provider of the UOK partnership, and funded by NHS Surrey and Sussex, East Sussex County Council and Brighton & Hove City Council.

The service offers flexible, person-centred support, including:

• One-to-one wellbeing support
• Peer support programmes
• Social and community activities
• Help to connect with local specialist services where needed

To make access as simple as possible, people can attend a Walk-in Welcome Session without an appointment, book a Saturday telephone appointment online, or sign up to a peer support programme through the UOK website.

The UOK Wellbeing Service forms part of the UOK partnership. We are a network of organisations working together to improve mental health and wellbeing across Brighton & Hove and East Sussex. The new neighbourhood-based service has been developed through extensive engagement to create a more consistent, accessible and connected offer.
