Menigitis B Vaccination Time Limited Programme

A new NHS vaccination programme is offering protection against meningococcal B (MenB) disease to eligible young people across England. The vaccine is being offered as a one-off programme to help protect those at highest risk before they start university or residential higher education in autumn 2026.  

Eligible students are being contacted via the NHS App,SMS or letter depending on contact details held by the NHS.  You do not need to wait you can book an appt of the national booking service or locate a participating Pharmcy by using Pharmacy Services finder

GP Practices are not taking part in this Programme but your local Pharmacy is.

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Vaccination

What is RSV?

RSV is a common respiratory virus that that can cause serious lung infections. While RSV infection can occur at any age, the risk and severity of RSV and its complications are increased in older adults and in neonates and small babies, and it has a considerable impact on individuals and NHS services during the winter months.

Who is eligable?

  • to older adults aged 75-79
  • individuals from 28 weeks’ pregnancy
