All Repeat Prescription items are on your medical record. When you collect your prescription from your Pharmacist, you will receive a tear-off slip listing your medication. Please allow 48 working hours to process any new requests.
We would like to confirm that our working days for processing prescriptions are Monday from 8.30 am to Friday evening at 6.30 pm.
Therefore, any repeat prescription ordered over the weekend or evenings will not be processed until these start times and the period of processing of the prescription will begin from this time.
Please ensure that you leave enough time for this process to take.
You can also arrange for your prescriptions to be ordered though the Electronic Prescribing Service. Ask at reception or your local pharmacy to sign up for this service. Your must also allow 48 hours for presciptions to be issued though this service. Click here to read the leaflet.
To obtain a Repeat Prescription you may:
- Leave Prescription form with Reception with items ticked that you require
- Send a stamped addressed envelope with your slip or a letter to the Practice
- Email us on TheHaven@nhs.net
- Order Online once you have registered for this service via Patient Access or the NHS App
- Contact your Pharmacy and ask them to send a Prescription request on your behalf
We do not take prescription requests over the telephone unless you have special circumstances known to us and a note with be placed on your medical record. This is to ensure that the correct medication is ordered for you.
Our Clinical Pharmacist will will happy to help you with any medication queries, as well as any of the Doctors here at the Practice. Your local Pharmacy may be able to help too if we are closed.
Patients on repeat medication will be contacted by the Doctor or Clinical Pharmacist for review at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
